In 2018 there were a total of 226,700 vehicles licensed in Bristol. This includes 182,300 Cars, 8,800 Motorbikes, 3,300 Buses & Coaches, 27,300 LGV(Large Goods Vehicles) and the rest consisting of other vehicles.
There are currently 42 age identifiers in circulation. The next reg identifier is 72, which will be released from Sept 2022 until Feb 2023. This pattern will continue until all possible variations have been used.
